Introducing GREENHOUSE, a hot new band featuring
some of New Orleans most exciting musicians. Together they
serve up a potent musical gumbo of gritty funk and soulful jazz
with a dash of ska, blues, and psychedelic rock. They are on a
mission to get bodies shaking across the land, playing shows
filled with danceable grooves and passionate Improvisation.
Greenhouse is led by guitarist lan Thomas Cunningham,
who has spent his years in New Orleans playing with Michael Ray
and the Cosmic Krewe. Joining him at the core of Greenhouse is
Dan Caro on drums, UNO Big Band director Jeff Albert on Trombone,
David Ellington on piano, and Eddie Croft on saxophone. A revolving
cast of musicians complete the lineup with Nick Daniels of the Neville
Brothers on bass, Michael Ray of Kool & the Gang on trumpet,
Ed “Moog Boy” Miles on synthesizer, and Chris Wickson bass.
This is one powerful band that is sure to blow the roof off of
any club they play.
